Funding by GATE
The GATE Program offers financial assistance to Trinidad and Tobago citizens pursuing USC and other tertiary programmes. GATE-approved programmes align with our academic offerings, managed by the Ministry of Education’s Funding and Grants Administration Division.
For information and to apply for GATE funding, visit the e-gate service. Apply at the start of the academic year and monitor approval status. Seek assistance from your Finance Advisor if needed. There is a GATE Policies & Procedures document on the Aeorion platform. All GATE students must sign a Credit Commitment Form at registration, or a parent/guardian must do so for students under 18, accompanied by their ID or Passport.
Student Finance Office
Student Finance provides financial services to our student community, including financial planning, scholarship advisory, and financial assistance. The Office facilitates students’ financial clearance, registration adjustments (Drop & Adds, Withdrawals), student account queries, and more. The Office also facilitates connections between those in need and potential sponsors, encouraging scholarship contributions and student sponsorship.

- Caution Deposit Fee: Charged once during the semester when a student commences classes and is admitted to the dormitory.
